Ask Arvada Recognized by the Alliance for Innovation
The prestigious Alliance for Innovation has recognized the City of Arvada for its Ask Arvada program, supplied by Government Outreach and Tele-Works. Honored with an Outstanding Achievement in Local Government Innovation Award, the City is among a handful of agencies recognized nationally each year for their efforts.
In addition to improving customer service, Ask Arvada is enabling city management to better understand the needs and priorities of residents. Reports tell management which topics are most accessed or viewed by residents, how often residents are requesting different types of services, and how residents value the services provided.
“We knew we were breaking ground and introducing a substantial change to business practices in our organization,” notes Assistant to the City Manager, Vicky Reier, “and it’s nice to have our vision validated by The Alliance.” Information Systems Manager Chris Longshore added, “we were particularly impressed that Government Outreach’s technology was so flexible and that the company’s staff took the time to understand our unique needs and implement the system to fill them.”
